Ultimately, we plan to complete a circumnavigation and the blue position markers in the map below reflect our intended route. We attempt to keep the map below up-to-date but with limited web opportunities, it can sometimes fall behind.  ‘The Blog’ is kept up-to-date at least once a week giving you further information on each leg and destination along with a tracker which we update with our position when on passage.  More photos can be found in ‘The Photos’ section.

With South Africa, St Helena, the East Caribbean island chain, the ABCs, Colombia, Panama and the Galapagos Islands now behind us we are continuing our passage west across the Pacific Ocean.  Our fist stop will be Hiva Oa in the French Polynesian Marquesas Islands, followed by the Tuamatos, Tahiti, Bora-Bora, Cook Islands, Tonga and finally New Zealand in November 2011.  We look forward to continuing to share our journey with you.

Oceans Dream is an Admiral 40 catamaran launched on 27 November 2008 in Cape Town.

After a successful crossing of the South Atlantic from Cape Town via St Helena she and her Crew, Adrian and Jackie, arrived in Trinidad in January 2009.  They’d soon realised even before arriving at St Helena that all was not well with Oceans Dream but did not expect to still be in Trinidad some nine months later.
