


The magical Galapagos Islands. Feb -
We were there for a total of four weeks
in the months of February and March 2011; one week in the anchorage of Wreck Bay,
Isla San Cristobal, followed by two weeks anchored off of Isla Isabela and finally,
a week of provisioning in Santa Cruz.
The Marquesas. Apr -
Following a 25 day passage from Galapagos, we made
landfall on the island of Hiva Oa. We were surprised by the dramatic scenery and
the wet weather! Our route saw us on the islands of Tahuata, Nuku Hiva and Ua Pou
over a 4 week period before heading off to the Tuamotu archipalego.

Beginning on the Caribbean side, we passed
through the Gatun Locks in the early evening and after a night tied up to a mega-
San Blas. Nov ‘10 -
We made landfall in the eastern end of the archipalego
which is yet to be touched by the Western world. As we moved further west, palm
roofs were replaced by corrugated iron and mobile phones, although often without
the ability to charge them became ever more present.

Lying to the west of Bonaire lie Aruba and Curacao. Each have their own special
charm. For Curacao, the Dutch influence in the architecture is very evident whereas
in Aruba, it is the duty-

have a special attraction which lures many cruisers to stay year-
In November 2008, we visited the new Admiral facilities in Atlantis. This album shows the factory, new hulls under construction and our trip to Cape Point. Our final visit in September 2008 saw us taking in the Volvo Ocean boats arriving and subsequently departing for the next leg.
